RC4G* Peterborough is now accepting applications from former campers who want to continue their involvement with RC4G* as a summer camp intern. We have two spots available.

As an intern you will gain technical and leadership skills, connect with others in the community interested in music, and hopefully have fun contributing to the success of camp. Your volunteer experience can also qualify towards your community service requirement for high school graduation.

As a RC4G* intern your duties will include:

  • Gear set-up and clean-up;
  • PA operation during live performances and loud practice;
  • Workshop delivery support;
  • Instrument instruction support;
  • Occasional camper supervision during breaks;
  • General tasks as requested by the intern supervisor or other staff.

To apply as an intern, you must be:

  • 14-18 years of age
  • A former RC4G* camper (or have comparable musical experience)
  • Able to commit to attending the entire camp period (Aug 12-16, 8:45 am – 4:45pm), camp load-in on the afternoon of Aug 11, and an orientation session in July (date tbd)
  • Willing to take risks and act as an enthusiastic role model for RC4G* campers

Here’s the application process:

  • Fill out the volunteer application form below, indicate you are applying as an Intern
  • Participate in a telephone interview
  • If you are selected, submit a police record check completed by your local police force
  • Once confirmed as an intern, keep in touch with RC4G* and attend the orientation session in July.

RC4G* Peterborough welcomes girls, young women, trans and non-binary individuals as interns at camp.
